The Yale women's hockey team honoured former friend and teammate Mandi Schwartz over the weekend.
The "White out for Mandi" game against Princeton raised more than 25 thousand dollars for the Mandi Schwartz foundation, which provides support to young hockey players diagnosed with cancer.
Yale is also planning an annual Mandi Schwartz Marrow Donor Registration Drive that is scheduled for April 2012.
Mandi Schwartz passed away in April after a two year battle with leukemia.
