Warren began his broadcasting career in radio at CKSO in Sudbury, ON. He then moved in to television as Sports Director at CFCL TV in Timmins, ON. Warren then continued his role as Sports Director while moving to Thunder Bay TV in 1981. As an original to the former STV, Warren joined the team in August of 1987.
Warren was raised in Sudbury, ON. Specializing in Communication Arts Warren graduated from Mohawk College.
Warren was front and centre during one of the most historic days in Saskatchewan sports history. He was covering the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Toronto as they won the teams second ever Grey Cup, defeating the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 43-40 in November of 1989.
Warren is a mainstay on the banquet circuit as he has emceed many local dinners and award ceremonies in Regina.
