Jill grew up in Melfort, Saskatchewan. After graduating from NAIT, her broadcasting career took her to locations in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Jill became the weekend anchor at Global Regina and soon moved into the weekday anchor role. Jill loves being a part of the community in such a unique and rewarding way. She is thankful for the many opportunities where she meets with community members and is a part of local events and charities.
Jill is a leader in the newsroom. She mentors Global Regina employees and encourages them to produce their best work, which is made known through the RTDNA awards our station has received.
From the anchor desk, Jill especially enjoys Global Regina’s elections specials with live results. Her Modern Mom series also provided her with the opportunity to meet many wonderful women in Regina.
Jill is an avid ‘Survivor’ viewer and when she's not at work, she loves to spend time with her family and scrapbook the adventures they’ve had together.
